Quality Policy and Objectives

The main goal of the Barcelona School of Building Construction (EPSEB) is for its students to fully acquire, in a timely manner, the knowledge, competencies, abilities and professional skills specified in the curricula of the School’s degrees that will allow them to enter the labour market.

The EPSEB is committed to achieving this goal by meeting its quality standards and ensuring its stakeholders are satisfied. The School must therefore develop strategies to fulfil its quality objectives, which involve monitoring, reviewing and continuously improving all of its processes and following these general guidelines:

• The EPSEB’s actions must be aligned with the UPC’s general objectives, as defined in the Framework for Promoting the Strategic Lines of Basic Units. The UPC must in turn provide resources in accordance with the degree to which the objectives have been attained.
• The EPSEB staff understand and accept the School’s quality policy and are committed to successfully and efficiently carrying out their duties.
• The EPSEB’s departments, departmental sections and functional units must receive all required support for achieving their objectives with maximum efficiency.
• The quality assurance system must be regularly monitored and assessed to ensure that it remains effective.

Thus, the management team of the EPSEB is committed to devoting all available technical, financial and human resources in compliance with the legal framework.
