Photogrammetry Workshop

lab-fotogrametriaThe Photogrammetry Workshop is in charge of the realization of the corresponding practices of the subject of Photogrammetry of the teaching of the bachelor's degree in Geoinformation and Geomatics Engineering; it participate in a punctual way in practices of the teaching of the bachelor's degree in Architectural Technology and Building Construction; it collaborates with some practices of the program of PhD. in “Visual Communication in Architecture and Design” of the ETSAB; in the postgraduate course of “Ways of Analysis and Intervention in the Built Heritage” of the UPC foundation and develops different final degree projects related with the photogrammetry.

The Workshop has as research lines the related ones with the terrestrial and aerial photogrammetry, for the cartographic and non-cartographic use.

The Workshop has 15 photogrammetric digital stations that allow to do works related with the cartography, architectonic models, archaeological models, surveys with big details, etc.

Currently, part of the personnel linked to the Workshop is participating in the research project "Caracterización y modelización de desprendimientos rocosos (RockModels)" funded by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness of the Government of Spain through the corresponding grants to the State Program for Research Promotion Scientific and Technical of Excellence, State Subprogram for the Generation of Knowledge, in the framework of the State Plan for Scientific and Technical Research and Innovation 2016-2019 with reference code BIA2016-75668-P.
