Modifying your bank account details

Preliminary information

On 28 February 2014, the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA), in which the same payment conditions apply regardless of the country, came into effect.

Therefore, from the 2014-2015 academic year onwards, if you wish to pay by direct debit or in instalments you will have to provide the University with a direct debit mandate form signed by the account holder and the student.

For this reason, too, you must inform the University if your bank details change.

Applications

Apply as follows:

Hand in to the academic secretary's office the original SEPA direct debit mandate form, which you can download from the e-Secretaria and which must be filled in and signed by the account holder and the student.

Comments:

    • The direct debit mandate form is a paper document that must be submitted at your school.
    • If the University does not have this document it is not authorised to debit your account and you will not be able to select either payment by direct debit or payment in instalments.
    • If you wish to pay by direct debit or in instalments you must submit the mandate form as soon as possible.

Resolutions

You must check that the details have been changed correctly a few days after submitting your application.
