The Institute of Statics and Mathematics Applied to the Edification (ISMAE) of the EPSEB initiate their activities in the course 2004-2005 and it emerges as a new University Centre of research, transference of knowledge, services and formation.

he ISMAE since it beginning, support –In the Statics and Applied Mathematics area- the group of professors of the different departments of the EPSEB collecting in a transversal way the proposals in the sector and in the environment of the sustainable construction. In this context, it stirs into action the scientific activities and of university interchange- society orientated to the new methodology in this area and its applications.
