Campus Horsens is one of eight campuses in Region Midtjylland, which is the area VIA University College covers.

Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava (hereinafter referred to as "STU") is a modern educational and scientific institution. Since its foundation in the year 1937 more than 145.000 students have graduated. In average, 17.000 students study at the STU every year.

At present, the STU consists of seven faculties based in Bratislava and Trnava. All the faculties provide a study in accredited study programmes within the complex system of a bachelor, master and PhD. study. Faculties realise credit system compatible with the European credit transfer system enabling mutual mobility of students within European Union member countries and a larger European space. In the area of scientific and research activities the STU successfully joints European Union programmes.

STU is a public university and offers education mainly in technical, technological, technical-economical, technical-information and technical-artistic fields of study using the modern methods of education, laboratories and practical training. The 115,000 students enrolled at Sapienza can choose from over 250 degree programmes (Bachelors, Masters and PhDs) and 200 specialisation courses, while the “Scuola Superiore di Studi Avanzati” runs honours programmes and free tuition for its best students.

One of the first Architecture Schools in Italy (established in 1926), the Università Iuav di Venezia is a ‘themed’ university totally focusing on design. It is a dedicated place for teaching, specialisation and field research in design of living space and environments such as buildings, cities, landscapes, regions as well as design of every-day use objects, cultural, theatrical, multimedia events, fashion and graphics.

The Università Iuav di Venezia is organised into three departments: “Architecture, Construction and Conservation”, "Design and Planning in Complex Environments”, "Architecture and Arts".

Educational programmes, courses and activities are divided into 5 undergraduate degree programmes and 8 graduate degree programmes that are project-driven in fields of architecture, design, fashion, visual arts, urban and regional planning, theatre, in addition to a number of postgraduate specialisation programmes, advanced specialisation courses and 8 research doctorates.

Iuav has successfully devised a unique learning mode that is especially suitable to transmitting project knowledge: workshops are in fact a real workshop for experiencing and learning under the direct guidance of high-calibre professionals and professors in the practice and design teaching fields.

Iuav invests a lot in research concerning issues related to the city, region and environment, landscape, infrastructure and mobility, protection and conservation, sustainable design, history of architecture, the new frontiers of design, arts and theatre.

The University boasts a system of studios equipped with high specialist equipment and expertise, also made available to external clients, along with a library heritage within the architecture and urban planning fields that is a crucial point of reference on a national basis.

About 5,000 students attend this University (admission to the various degree programmes is limited, which is an essential requirement needed to guarantee teaching quality). International Exchange Programmes are currently being offered in cooperation with 130 European universities for the promotion of students’, researchers’ and faculty’s mobility, with a view to developing a common European citizenship, exchange of good practices and sharing of researches. Furthermore, the Università Iuav di Venezia has also established cooperation and exchange relationships with non-EU institutions and universities with which has entered into over 60 agreements aiming at students’ mobility.

Studying at the Iuav means living in an environment that is open to what is happening throughout the world. The Koszalin University of Technology is a modern university that can boast of traditions. For over 45 year now, it has been the only public technical university in the Middle Pomerania region. The University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (UWM) was founded on 1 September 1999. The establishment resulted from merging three institutions of higher education in Olsztyn, i.e. the Academy of Agriculture and Technology, the Higher School of Pedagogy, and Warmian Theological Institute.

At first, in 1999, there were 12 faculties, 32 branches of study, and 24.500 students at UWM. The University also had a right to grant doctoral degrees in 13 scientific disciplines, and postdoctoral degrees in 6 branches. According to the University’s Act of Establishment, the position of the first Rector of UWM was taken by Prof. Ryszard Górecki, PhD. The University has been settled in Kortowo – an academic campus that used to belong to the Academy of A&T.

UWM has undergone an intense transformation since its beginnings. Achieving such a progress would not be possible without funds of the European Union. Educational and scientific bases of the University have been significantly reinforced, for example by purchasing high-tech laboratory equipment.

Over the years, UWM offer was extended to new branches of study, and consequently, new faculties were established. Currently, there are 17 faculties at UWM, 11 of which have full academic rights, namely the right to grant postdoctoral degrees (in 13 disciplines). Furthermore, the doctoral degree can be granted at 16 faculties, within 24 disciplines.

In the Academic Year 2014/15, there are 27.000 students that are educated at 17 faculties, and 65 branches of study, within either full-time or part-time studies. Additionally, there are also 600 doctoral candidates, and 1500 post-graduate students.

Brno University of Technology is composed of eight faculties, which are the Faculty of Civil Engineering, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the Faculty of Architecture, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication, the Faculty of Information Technology, the Faculty of Business and Management, the Faculty of Chemistry and the Faculty of Fine Arts.

The Faculty of Civil Engineering is currently the largest faculty at BUT, with the largest number of students. It’s a modern tertiary education institution which strives for innovation in the numbers of fields of study it offers, and in the composition and content of individual subjects. Students thus have access to the latest theoretical and applied findings, and can apply this knowledge in practice. Emphasis is placed on students’ academic mobility, particularly within Europe. The Faculty of Civil Engineering offers accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s and doctoral degree programmes as well as lifelong learning courses, and is significantly engaged in research and development activities.

Since 1992 the faculty has been located at its original historical site on Veveří and Žižkova streets. The Veveří site contains buildings A, B, C, D, E and F, which were reconstructed between 1994 and 2005. On Žižkova Street, above the Veveří site, building Z can be found. Building R, which is on Rybkova Street to the left of the Veveří site, is currently under the administration of the BUT Rector’s Office.
